Since the 1992-93 season, when just over 10,000 girls or women registered with USA Hockey, the sport has enjoyed great growth spurts. In 2010-11, the number of registered female players crossed the 65,500 mark.

The Bulldog Hockey Association wants to continue to see the growth in our area and give as many girls as we can the opportunity to experience the fun sport of hockey. It is important for people to know it is never to late for them to join the great sport of hockey.

This year in addition to a Girls Try Hockey For Free event for girls 12 and under on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the LSCC  we have implemented a referral program to encourage more girls to join our girls U12 team (ages 10 - 12).
