GIANT Swim Fundraiser - Benefits arena renovations at the LSCC

A FUNdraising event called the GIANT Swim coming to the Le Sueur Community Center on Saturday, April 9th!
The GIANT Swim is an 18 hour swim-a-thon in which all proceeds will go directly to the Le Sueur/Henderson SCORE organization. SCORE (School & Community Outdoor Recreation Enhancements) was organized to improve facilities for the Le Sueur/Henderson community and schools, and they have completed many, many notable projects. Last year the GIANT Swim helped fund $3,229.84 towards improvements to the LSCC ice arena and plans on giving 20% of this year's proceeds for further improvements.
The intentions are to divide the proceeds from this event into 3 areas within SCORE:
· 50% to replace/repair the sheds at the Barony Fields (we want to do 50% for the next two years)
· 30% to purchase lockers for the outdoor pool locker rooms
· 20% to further renovation/enhance the indoor ice arena (part of our 2 year funding plan for them - this is year 2)

Please join the BULLDOG Hockey Team in swimming from 7pm - 8pm. The cost is $20/per person. This fee gets you an hour of swim time, an event t-shirt, a goodie bag, and a chance to win fabulous door prizes! To register online, visit goo.gl/7vtT3e. If you prefer paper, forms can be picked up and dropped off at the Le Sueur Community Center front desk. Last year we had 11 Bulldogs swim… let’s get more this year!
