Kindergarten - 8th Graders

2011 "Better Hockey Clinics"

Monday, July 18th to Thursday, July 21st

 

  • Individualized skating instruction
  • Puck skills in a fun-filled environment
  • Small Numbers = lots of attention and feedback!

Skating Instruction: Each player and provide skater-specific feedback.

New techniques and teaching methods will be implemented.

All players will receive written evaluations at the end of the sessions.

 

Puck Skills and Unstructured games: Players will be engaged in a variety of activities that will be both fun and skill-developing.

 

Small numbers: Each group will consist of no more than 15 skaters. (Goalies are invited and needed! No payment necessary.) Registration for each group will be closed once 15 skaters have secured spots.

Session times:

Monday-Thursday (Beginner) Current K - 3rd graders who will benefit from a focus on fundamentals will be on the ice from noon to 1:00 each day. Cost: $60.

 

Monday-Thursday (Intermediate) Current 3rd - 5th graders who have acquired basic skating and puck skills will skate from 1:15 to 2:30 each day. Cost: $75.    

 

Monday-Thursday (Advanced) Current 5th - 8th graders who have 1) a relatively high skill level and 2) a willingness to work extra hard will skate from 2:45-4:15 each day and participate in dryland training from 4:30 to 5:00 each day. Cost: $110.
