In a low scoring game, Girls U12 beat Austin 2 - 1 at Austin jamboree on Saturday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. Both defenses held strong to shut down scoring in the second period. In the third period, the offenses finally got going when Girls U12 outscored Austin two to one and took the lead to claim the late win.

Alison Helder scored one goal for Girls U12 and also had one assist. Whitney Weick contributed one goal for Girls U12.

Austin ended the game with a record of 1-2.
